Thought this project is done? Nope. Not yet. Here´s another piece of Leica photography. This image was shot at an international airport´s tower.

Always like seeing the images you make from the Leica. This one is interesting and I hope this particular project doesn't end anytime soon.

Hello Michael,

Beautiful shot, good impression of their work plus wonderful portrait.

Kind regards, Frank

PS: ..and reminds me of your excellent Hasselbladportrait of one colleague on his last day at one tower some years ago..

Thanks for stopping by, Larry. I´ll continue putting up Leica images as long as I´ve got some.

Thank you very much, Frank. Glad you remember that Hasselblad image.

Michael,
since you are already aware of your composing habits, then maybe this is the time to intentionally trying out different angles and proportions. As for myself, every time I am consciously changing my photographic 'habits', I first produce a lot of crab but end up making real progress.

Stefan, I agree.
Indeed I am using many different approaches in people photography depending on character and surrounding of the portrayed person. As for myself, composing comes without any thinking. Guess this is what I wanted my message to be. Today I believe that composing in photography is very much overrated. A touching photograph does not necessarily need to follow common composing rules. It´s just a matter of emotions and feelings. Changing, or even better, lay aside any kind of´composing habits`can help receiving more ´soulful`images.

Stefan, I would like to add that I consider your comment as very helpful. I think it´s time to change (again) some things, try something new, go for challenges. Thanks again.

Michael
