Low Level Discussion

13 August by Michael Kellenter

Hasselblad 501 - 80mm - Kodak Tri-X

Dog (suspicious): "What are you doing down there? Humans normally don´t approach that low without base motives"

Photographer (friendly): "I am taking a photograph. Sorry, I did not mean to bother you"

Dog (alert): "I bet you want my toy tennis ball, that´s all you want! I tell you, don´t you even touch my teddy bear up there behind me, it´s all mine!"

Photographer (pacifying): "I am not interested in your toy tennis ball and I don´t want your teddy bear. Don´t worry!"

Dog (educational): "I don´t believe you! Humans never seem to get enough. They gather and gather and then - as if driven by a madman´s dream - they start an arbitrary but never ending and exhausting defense of their love substitutes called properties against everybody. Watch your step! It´s all mine here!"

Photographer (amused): "Okay, these are all your treasures and you are ready to fight for it. Don´t you think you behave a bit too human?"

Dog (thoughtful): "Hmmm. Allright. So you just want a photograph. Why? What´s so interesting here?

Photographer (relieved): "Well, I like your torn up toy tennis ball and your teddy bear"

Dog (back to the alert status): "I knew it !!!!"

Photographer (sighing): Click
