Some people we meet on our journey called life we would remember more than others. Some of them we don´t notice at all, others leave a deep impression. Sometimes we seem to be attracted by people having certain attributes we consider to be most desirable for ourselves following illusional idols imposed by anyone - our parents, our teachers, the whole society or whatever. Sometimes the opposite is the case.
Most of our encounters seem to be chance encounters but lead to a certain kind of relationship and sometimes after a while we even would call some people we once met by chance friends. Lifetime lasting friendship for sure is rare. I thought about why. Is it for everybody being so different and finding those being our "soul relatives" is hardly possible? I don´t think so. I believe we basically are all the same but are not able to recognise that before we know who we are ourselves. Not knowing who we are makes us follow illusional idols. Knowing who we are enables us to see others as they are. This is the basis for a good friendship.
Thomas is a friend of mine. He´s an excellent photographer.
