Ay

31 Oktober by Michael Kellenter
This is the village called "Ay". Having two houses only it´s sort of surprising they gave it a name at all. There´s not really much going on in Ay. They have a telephone wire and I guess they do have elictricity as well. There are some fields and some woods and a paved road leads through the village. Remarkably they imposed a speed limit of 60 km/h (40 mph) which seems rather senseless to me because there ain´t nobody to reinforce it (I have never seen a police man in Ay....). Moreover driving faster than 60 km/h on this road hardly is possible. After what you can see of it on this image the road continues downhill having very tight curves and a speed of 40 km/h seems much more reasonable than 60 km/h. Well, the world looks quite allright to me in Ay. Not that much more to say about it besides what I mentioned already. To me it´s not just a very small village without any attractions. To me it´s a very peaceful place which helps me to rest my mind and focus on what seems desirable to me. I really love driving down that road through this wide area very slowly on my photo tours thinking of nothing but how beautiful everything shines in that golden late afternoon light.

Ay...not my peace of cake I guess Wink

The colors in this image are beautiful, though. I love the blue of the sky!
